To support Lime’s bid to provide e-scooters in the city of London, overturning years of legislation. 

The approach

Words + Pixels’ dual-stream strategy tackled the policy conversation about e-scooters at a local level while utilising CEO Wayne Ting to talk about wider industry trends and learnings.

Throughout, we zeroed in on the sustainable and affordability pros of e-scooters in relation to renewable city planning; as seen in Lime activations across dozens of other European and international cities.

Our campaign included everything from hosting warehouse tours to showcase Lime’s impressive infrastructure to crafting local investment stories. As a result, Lime won the summer 2021 London e-scooter tender, securing the most prominent share of voice against competitors involved in the pilot campaign.
