Treedom is the first platform in the world that allows people to plant trees remotely and follow the story of the tree online.

The brief

To develop an “always-on” press office strategy that would raise Treedom’s UK profile.

The approach

Being relatively new to the UK market, our Treedom strategy revolved around creating buzz with product placements, press office news and responsive thought leadership stories.

All Treedom trees are planted directly by local farmers, with environmental, social and financial benefits. We were particularly interested in this community angle, as we sought to educate consumers about the vital role that trees play in fighting climate change.

We also positioned Treedom as an alternative present choice during key gifting periods, and created Christmas-themed original research on the growing consumer desire to live more sustainably - in a campaign that prompted 72 pieces of coverage.
